See through bridge needed (bass p0rn inside)

Hey I need a bridge that is either see through or atleast has a see through bass plate. Anyone ever see such a thing. Next best thing would be a bridge with an extremely small footprint. I have the see through Q tuner J pickups going on this. Perhaps I should also get a see through control plate and pickguard

For the sake of tone, don't do anything silly with the bridge. A vintage style Fender style bridge will have the smallest footprint and will sound right.

Technically, there's no need for a pickguard if you don't want one. Just put a chrome control plate on there and some black vintage style knobs and you'll be set.

That top is purdy for sure. However, next time you order such a stunning top, have the control cavity rear-routed so you can forego the control plate and show off even more of the wood.

Gorgeous top.

A custom lucite bridge or baseplate might be interesting.

The bridge with the smallest baseplate footprint I'm aware of is the Fender vintage bridge with threaded saddles. One of those in gold may fade into the background a bit or enhance the look. Same with a gold controlplate. A clear pickguard is usually available from pickguard suppliers.

meh, every instrument i've seen with a clear pickguard or control plate has a nice cloudy surface (since it's plastic, not glass), and a visible collection of lint and dust trapped underneath it.

You really want to be able to see the little oval route for the ground lead?

To each his own.

If it were mine, I would go with a transparent smokey black tinted pickguard and a typical jazz control plate and babicz or BAII bridge in whatever finish you choose.

Wow, that's some serious porn for sure.
I'd be looking for a top notch luthier to make me a Jersey Drodz (no clue how to spell that one) type wood bridge out of walnut or ebony or or rosewood to complement the body wood and maybe play off the neck or fretboard wood. If I had to install a pickguard on something that beautiful it would be a solid cream guard or a translucent tortise guard and lastly I'd consider all gold hardware on something with that much body bling in the wood.

ETS is a German company that makes bridges (and although Ritter doesn't say so, I'm 99% positive that they make the bridges and knobs that he stocks on his basses).

They have a gorgeous T.O.M. style bridge, except each saddle is adjustable for height. :)
