I don't know how intense your surgery was, but don't push yourself too hard.

well ... I now have a direct tube from my stomach to the outside of my abdomen.... and a catheter and big old disc implanted in my shoulder
It’ll hopefully payoff in the long run, but it’s a LOT right now.... especially cramming it in with radiation and chemo.
but I keep believing it’ll pay off, and I’m gonna beat this ... the man upstairs didn’t allow me to make it through a broken neck/being paralyzed , and all the other stuff I’ve gone through for no reason. I’m SUPPOSED to make it through this, fit whatever reason.
Continuing to move forward is what you're doing ..and it is a good thing, just make sure you sleep when you should be sleeping.

Your attitude will make a big difference in how you weather the process, and it is a process. Do your best to protect your own disposition because staying upbeat and positive will be a significant impact, at least it did for me.
One day at a time is the only way through this. Believe me, some days it will one minute to the next and if that's what it takes, that's what you'll do. Stay strong brother, kick its ass!

Well... not a steal, but I got this at a pawnshop for $50 out the door about a month and a half ago. Gonna do some reworking and have fun with it when I get time ....
Nice, man! Looks to be in better shape than the SBMM SUB Ray4 I got from Craigslist for $65.
Mine looked like someone ate a chicken dinner on it and stored it in a barn for years.
When I met the kid in a home Depot parking lot (his mom brought him) I think he was offended when I put gloves on before touching the bass. Here's a CL post photo, bridge at my place, and after disassembling and a total clean up and disinfecting.

Keep up the fight, brother. Just got word today that after an emergency kidney removal last year due to the big C, my Dad (nuther worship bass player) may have some further issues.

Thank the Lord it’s the weekend... I get two days with no treatment. This feeding tube still hurts, mostly because of the muscle damage from installation.... hopefully that pains gone soon. I feel so tired all the time... I have to “will” myself to get things done, and this whole process is just starting, I’m positive it’s gonna get much tougher. I’m hoping it doesn’t get to the point where I’m in bed all the time, just thinking about my situation.... I need to keep my hands and mind on other things. Last February I broke my ankle... essentially separated my foot from my leg. Two plates and 15 screws. That was a long recovery, and just as soon as I started feeling almost normal, this diagnosis happened. Not sure why I keep getting tested. It sucks. Better to have these tests on my shoulders than someone else’s though. I can deal with it. Just gotta try to keep focused.
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. Painkillers should kick in soon...

Seems Fridays always lift me up a notch.
If you need to do something to occupy your mind, think about what you need to do to finish the half dozen bass projects you have in process.
Maybe record or make a list of what's needed to finish each one.
Yeah, you've had more than your fair share of broken parts, good thing you are tough enough to keep moving forward anyway.
Your friends are pulling for you, I look for your posts every day.
I know your not much for getting effed up, but maybe a beer would be a nice addition to your painkiller.

Andy glad to hear your free of treatment for a couple of days, sounds like your on good form, your gonna nail this.
