Seriously, is there anything a Precision Bass Can't do?

Maybe the question should be, is there anything you cant do with a P-bass. I absolutely love my precision and it fits in perfectly with almost everything. I have trouble with some fast staccato parts on my P, like with the I Will Survive cover by Cake, but I think a better player would be able to do it just fine. I need all the help I can get and the bridge pickup on my Fodera pj really helps with that stuff.

All the boutique vs P stuff is silly. I consider my Monarch to be the ultimate P and I see no conflict of interests.

I'm typing this response on a Cupertino hand built iPad. Not one made in China. Therefore, my post must better than yours. My boutique built iPad obviously creates superior posts. It's amazing that TB still allows posts from PCs or lesser built Apple products!

I am so jealous! So much so, in fact, that I'm going to have to say that the HP Slate is a superior instrument. Really, the colors are amazing, and typing is so much more succinct and accurate. I don't know how anyone can use an iPad. The Cupertino-built units are superior to their Chinese counterparts, certainly, but are still not up to HP's standards.

I only use Mac products, actually, but couldn't resist.

Ah yes, once again the P-bass cult rears its head. I've commented before.

"Is there anything the Precision bass can't do?" Yep--can't give me 80% of the sounds that I would want heard by an audience.

But again, I encourage all other players to spend all your disposable income on those canoe paddles!--so as to drive down prices for instruments that I actually would want to buy!
