Set List App

Easy way, no app needed:

1. Create a spreadsheet with band/performer name in one column and the song title in a second column.

2. Sort alphabetically by title and/or band name.

3. Open a second “set list”spreadsheet and place it alongside your master song list.

4. Select and copy/paste songs from your master list to the set list spreadsheet.

5. Done.

Note: I’d also include the key the song was in. I found that was often helpful when planning the song sequence in a set list. My bandmates also usually appreciated having that bit of info.

Even better, add two columns. Label one as "Set", the other as "Order". So third song in set one has 1 in Set and 3 in Order. Then sort all your data by set then order, then title. All of set 1 will be in order, themn set 2, etc. Unused songs will be below in alphabetical order. Set print range to the sets (I put a page break after each set) and a BIG typeface so they're easy to see).
