Setting to bold unread threads (Chrome/Mac)

I recently had to do a rebuild on my computer after a crash and ever since I did it I no longer see unread thread titles bolded like I used to- in fact nothing shows up as bold at all on Chrome. Safari works as normal, so I assume some Chrome setting is off due to the reload.
Any ideas? I'm sure its something stupid I'm missing...
