SG & EB Bass Club

New Bass Day!

New 2018 SG. Love the short scale and Babicz bridge. I have given up struggling with guitar and got this to start off 2019 focusing on bass. I sold my Epiphone goth Thunderbird and must say this is a super upgrade. So comfortable to play.

Hope to learn a lot from you guys in this forum. Can I get a SG club number?

Yes, i do. On my LP JR DC and on my DIY SG. Very musical sound. Fits for "everything" in the good way. But if You wand to have sheer power, try GHS brite flats (which should actually be renamed to "brute flats" ;-))

You might also try LaBella White Tapes, if You manage to buy...

Hey partner. I love it! I've had Gibson EB/SG Std. basses since1969. This 2019 series is probably the best overall of any I've had. The D'Addario ETB92S Nylons play great on it. QC is fantastic!!!

Good to hear about QC (hopefully) improving.

What made you get rid of the two 2018 pieces that you owned at one time, if you don't mind me asking ?

cloned my '65 handrest and can make you one.

AFAIK mutes were an option in '65. Mine doesn't have one or the screw holes in the body showing that it ever did.
