Ah yes, the coffin races and polar bear plunge. Never did them but fun to watch! Never spent any time in Arvada mostly Boulder and Denver. I'm really enjoying the warm sunny weather here in SoCal and don't miss the snow too much.

Back to SG basses - anybody try any interesting string changes yet? I still have the stock strings on and will need to replace them soon.

Ever eat at Bo Jo's pizza? Fricken awesome. (Idaho Springs is the location I am familiar with) I have the stock strings on mine too. I am brand specific when shopping. However your taste may differ. DR strings is what I will be adding in the near future. I like the Black Beauties which are rounds coated in nylon. So not as bright as a set of rounds but not as dark as flats. May be worth a try.

Everybody, I'd like you to meet The Ox, my new Epiphone EB-0. Named for both John "The Ox" Entwistle and its horns/color. Got it five days ago and I'm already in love with it.

One newbie question...What's the significance of the number? Is it just to keep track of people?

I don't like the pickup spacing on the new Gibsons, so I'd go with the Greco. It has the more vintage look too.

Wouldn't know where to find one, but Johan Segeborn seems to like his, and he's a very respected guitar YouTuber.

Just realised that's a Stagg. Moot point. Sure a Greco can't be that bad though.

Seriously? I didn't know how either and had to fight through advice. Find someone who knows how and elect them to assist. I want to see it!!!!!!!!!!!

Was the pickguard preinstalled? I really want a vintage pickguard like yours. All is all this bass looks stunning!
