ey David... and others... I'm wondering right now what the main differences between series and parallel wiring would give me on a set of ND3's. The tone I'm chasing after would definitely be more of a Music Man vibe in terms of huge bottom end, however without the natural mid scoop and less of a harsh top end -- why I love Bongo's pickups which are in parallel and its electronics but the 6 string model's neck is too wide for me, they're a bit too heavy and I prefer tighter spacing. I had a Sterling Ray35 that sounded great in parallel and series w/ a filter however the just plain old "series" option was not really my taste. I'd think this is because a pickup meant to run in parallel will be hotter and darker when wired in series right? Default wiring for the ND3's is series, right? What would that mean for the tone when in parallel.
