Shallowest wall hangers?

I am designing an "in wall" display cabinet for my living room where I will be moving some of my basses to (10 to be exact), but I am working with a very shallow depth of around 13cm (5.1 inches). This means that it wont be deep enough to fit my ABG's in, but it will be fine for electrics.

As most wall hangers are made for electric and acoustic guitars/bass, the electrics hang seperated a little from the wall. I am looking for hangers that hold an electric bass the closest to the wall possible.

What are the shallowest depth (hold closest to wall) bass hangers that you know of?

My String Swings measure @ 5 1/8 when fully screwed in. I "think" it'd be pretty easy to pull off the rubber caps on the fork, and grind/cut them down a smidge to get where you need to be? My Fretrests (which I don't care for anyway) measure @ 5 3/4.

thanks @Joedog, which model string swings do you have?

@Stumbo, if I can't find anything premade then that (or make them myself) is the route I will have to. I didn't quite get the Lego Elvis though???

Lego Elvis is from the new(to me) TB people emojis. Just for fun!
Please post whatever you come up with. I look forward to seeing your solution.

I use several "Off The Wall" hangers in the wide model. Total depth from wall to end of hanger is 4.5 inches. Stacked knob controls of a hanging 5 string bass is at just under 5 inches. Excellent hangers worth checking out in my opinion.

Hercules won't work, mine stick out from the wall nearly 6-1/2".

Yeah, Hercules is what I have at the moment, great hangers (with the auto-lock) but too deep for the new space.

If you want to know if a wall hanger is shallow, just ask the hanger about itself. If it goes on & on & never asks about you, it's probably very shallow.

:D Well played sir!
