They were mass produced for about 20 years, so even with them out of production, there's probably enough on the used market to keep them available without huge price increases for a long time.

Yeah funny its called the " OC-2" when almost no one uses Oct 2 lol.

The only knob it needs is the Oct 1. That's pretty much the only way I use it. Oct 1 cranked everything else off.
After getting an MXR BOD, i applied the synth-mod to my OC-2 (circumvent the Envelope&Filter section). Nice fuzzy tone and ideal in combination with an external LP filter.

Play in a hard rock original band:
Oct 1- dimed
Oct 2- just barely on if not off always
Dry- usually around noon or anywhere from 3 to dimed.
I find these are the tastiest settings for me. If I start blending in any Oct 2 that much, it starts getting a little muddy. Depends on what the application is that youre using it for.
