That's life post-marriage, right? Regardless, congrats! There are few things more nerve-wracking than popping the question, so I salute you.

P.S. She's very pro-bass. When we first met and dated in 2002 She was singing in a local punk rock band. Total turn on. Now that we've reunited all these years later she's learning to play guitar and supports and appreciates my bass playing and singing and supports my love of playing in bands.

We first met and dated for 8 months or so in 2002. We lost touch for all these years. She found me again last May. So we've dated for the last 6 months again.
I knew back in '02 That we were a good match but our lives back then did not allow for it. Now, we are both ready.

I've joked with her for a while that there is no reason to not have the phone near her so that she can answer all my phone calls so I was going to buy her some duct tape to tape the phone to her head.
The box the ring came in fit inside of a roll of duct tape. I sat the box in the tape, the tape in a bag. I then told her I got her something.
She opened the bag and said "What the F is this?!" and started to get sassy.
She then saw the box, opened it up and was very happy.
Yeah. She thought I was screwing with her. Haha.She thought you were serious!
I definitely am happy about that.
He'll, we may even end up playing music together at some point.
