Gym's 24hr buffet maybe... He is in rough shape and cannot sing anymore . Mick Mars is gone and Nikki and Tommy have both been busted using backing tracks It should be over but its not

For some reason, I thought they already had a “farewell”* tour. Like I mentioned, I don’t really keep close track of that kind of stuff.

*And of course, we know what a big lie that can be. You can kiss that idea goodbye.

John 5 is an odd fit. It’s not like Axl and Buckethead, but it doesn’t seem to work as well as his time with Manson or Zombie. Nothing against him as a player.

Videos I’ve seen recently support some of what’s been said above. Vince is a disaster. Backing tracks are relied on. You’re probably paying for stage production more than music performance at one of these events. If that’s how you want to spend your disposable income, then have at it.

No thank you, but right on for trying.
I'm going to hang on to my hard rockin' memories of them from the 80's and early 90's. Those were killer shows.
That is cool though that they are selling hard copy tickets only. None of that online and internet monkey business.

Mötley Crüe were my very first concert, on the Theatre of Pain tour.

At the time, my 14 year old self was convinced I had just witnessed the coolest thing that could ever possibly be (it was really loud, and a few women flashed their boobs).

I saw footage of that show on YouTube a few years ago, and hindsight showed me a drug-addled trainwreck barely held together by Mick Mars.

You could give me free tickets to a Crue show now & I’d rather do my taxes or trim my dog’s nails…

The one area in which Kiss were the trailblazers--fake farewell tours.

Actually, I think The Who started that trend…

The ‘82 tour, then the live double album and concert film that came out in ‘84, entitled Who’s Last. Done deal. But hold on…they came back in ‘87 for another tour. And a few times more; if I remember correctly, it was Entwistle who cajoled Townshend into going back out and milking it again, needing some more cash flow.

Fair point. In their defense, Townshend at the time thought his tinnitus would prevent him from ever playing live again. I saw the '82 tour and he played acoustic with isolating earpieces most/all of the show. (I think his brother played electric.) I don't know what changed for Pete in terms of his ears, but I'm selfishly glad they kept going, as the '97 Quadropenia tour with Zak Starkey on drums was miles better than the '82 show with Kenny Jones (in a football stadium to boot, ugh). And of course, Pete and Roger have kept going out in the 20 years since Entwistle passed.
