If you don't know who THePETEBOX is yet then you will do soon! Pete is making SERIOUS noise on the live scene at the moment and running for a world record in YouTube video views. Having had the pleasure of seeing him do this stuff live a couple of times, all I can say is WOW!!
Pete might not be a bass player (well he is kinda'...) but he makes some awesome music using an awesome live/studio set up.

Aulos are amazing and Oli is a top chap. They played in Nottingham (where I live) again a fortnight ago so we had another catch up and they were better than ever. I swear that man couldn't use any more delay if he tried!

Michał is a Polish bass player involved in the emerging live electronica scene in Europe. Michał currently plays with Bubble Chamber - A relatively new live project who are already making a serious name for themselves on the live scene. The 3-piece create a dark and brooding style of Dubstep & Drum n' Bass which is seriously atmospheric stuff.

It was the Chris "Fatty" interview. All these electronica guys are using M9s and I couldn't figure it out cause it sounds like butt to my ears. But I took one home to try, stopped designing sounds, just started throwing stuff together and got some pretty awesome patches. Brrrup brrup brrup:
Attack Synth (everything at about noon, square wave)
Frequency Shifter (around 40 Hz, Down, mix at 50%)
Spin Cycle (dotted eighth, freq at 0, Q at 20%, mix & vol sense at 50%)
Getting the hang of it, and put it before a SA BEF Pro for the first time this afternoon.

Ah - yeah, the M9 is pretty special. How I've avoided buying one all this time I'll never know! If I wasn't digging all my Moog gear for modulation then I think I'd of invested long ago.
In the last month I've seen Chris play live, as well as Oli Montez from the interviews above and the M9 sounds amazing in both (very different) settings. It really is a great bit of kit!
