Spoke with Michal - not named after the pedal, rather after the cold war technology that I think the pedal was also named after.

Apparently they had their 1st gig booked but no name and Michal loved the images produced to show the scientific results of a Bubble Chamber so they went with that. He sent me these links to show the pictures that inspired it...

Luke Bhatia is a guitarist who plays everything from the bass lines up and is the man behind the noise with Manchester favorites, From The Kites of San Quentin. The Kites' have a made a real name for themselves on the the Electronica scene over recent years playing a signature combination of haunting ambience, solid grooves and well layered sound textures. They perform (generally) as a 3-piece combinations of Guitar, electronics & vocal yet have a full sound comparable to many a 4 or 5 piece Electronica act.

Nathan Navarro's name goes hand in hand with the Source Audio Hot Hand Controller. A pioneer in Dubstep bass, but from a hard rock/metal background, he is the bass player for Pinn Panelle amongst other projects and is a name on the lips of many people involved in the world of live electronica.

For those of you that are not familiar with Janek's work (and I imagine that's a small percentage!) let me introduce you... Janek is a very well respected music director, producer and side man responsible for laying down the low-end for artists such as Randy Brecker, Jojo Mayer, Mike Stern, Hiram Bullock and many many more. Janek is also a band leader, releasing records under his own name which combine more influences and genres that you can shake a stick at. While the tag from outside might read 'Modern Jazz', delve a little deep and you'll find so much more!

I thought it was worth asking people if there is anyone particularly that they would like to see an interview from? I have a few in the works as mentioned above, but is there anyone any of you guys would love to see interviewed?

They need to have an interesting/large/cool effects/gear set up (to keep in theme with the interviews) or be a builder/designer of pedals and effects...

Obviously there are limits. I tried contacting Justin Chancellor - no joy :)

Justin Meldal-Johnsen is a serious bass heavy weight. He is responsible for recording, touring and providing the low end for such massive acts as Nine Inch Nails, Beck & Gnarls Barkley. In the world of bass players he is the kind of name that many many players aspire to be. He is also a serious pedal-head!

I was lucky enough to steal 15 minutes of his precious time to get some answers over his effects, gear and live set up.
