Not sure if you know of Groove Collective but Jonathan Maron is a monster bass player/musician, has a silly collection of vintage and obscure gear & has recorded & toured with a bunch of folks (I have his contact info if you need).

Being a professional web designer I would agree that reverse type is harder to read. That being said, the templated sites like Juan's, etc. all tend to have a similar look and I miss the diversity that used to be the web before Apple convinced everyone that web 2.0 was the only design worth having. I personally like your site.
I would love to see an interview like this with Brian Cook from Botch/These Arms Are Snakes/Russian Circles. His use of pedals in heavy rock music is very inspiring to lots of folks that post on these boards.
