I tried to price shipping a bass overseas. Box of 48x12x12 weighing about 20lbs. FedEx wanted $1600!!!! USPS and UPS wouldn’t ship. Am I missing something or is overseas out?

Was the FedEx quote for overnight delivery? From where to where?
Edit: Are you sure you’re using the rate calculators correctly? FedEx and UPS will ship anything anywhere for a price. Usually USPS too.
