Shoes for onstage?

Had a pair of those years ago and loved them. Unfortunatly my feet spread in old age and they no longer fit and so they got trashed.
I've been looking at Army Surplus stores for another pair for 10-15 years but havn't had any luck. I very rarely see them. Any that I've spotted have been either way overpriced, worn out, or the wrong size.

These are the boots. The are made for the U.S. military.
but sold to the public.

Ive played barefoot alot. Never in a bar due possible glass, and I stopped when I started using pedals because the footswitches can hurt when you stomp em, or they went between my toes, but now ive been playing more often bass>amp>cab and ive been considering it again.

Mellow: why such a bad idea?

Glass, electricity, and nasty, sticky things.

Not my favorite combo.

I'm likin' Platform Booties as a nice change from the usual calf height ones - still make my legs look good :D

What shoes do you think is best for onstage?

The ones you can stand on for two-three hours without having your feet kill you. Black tends not to be noticed, so if you don't think they look "pretty", wear black.

TBird's stunning black footwear being the exception, o'course!

My feet aren't great and I wear orthotics and Dunham shoes and boots - they're made by New Balance.
