That's the worst insult I've seen on these forums so far. What an awful thing to do.

LOL and I feel sorry for the OP there is nothing I mean nothing worse than waiting for a new bass and opening the case and seeing something like that.

Feeling your pain dude. UPS is reeling right now, they lost their contract with eBay and Paypal for advertising and prefered shipping. Be glad though that you got something. I bought a 2006 Epiphone Tbird off eBay last month. It was shipped through UPS on the 27th, arrived at Jackson Mississippi the 28th and then disappeared off the face of the earth. UPS did not notice a problem until i inquired on the 5th of february that the bass had not arrived and was told the shipper had to initiate a tracer and then they would look for it. It is the 18th now and no bass, a claim has been made and i need to be patient. I know it is a $250 bass but the fact that no real effort is being made to rectify the problem makes me livid. Hope you get your bass soon, but i will never use UPS again.

MF seems to have issues like this a lot. I ordered a red Corvette $$ 5er about two years back and guess what I got! A fretless. Not near as bad as yours, but how do these things happen? They really need to step up their game. I'm really surprised things like this are still happening.

Similar situation has happened to me twice. A few years ago I ordered a PBass from Sweetwater and received a used Roland synth. 4 months ago I ordered an Ibanez ATK 750 Maple Quilt top from the Guitar Center used gear page (a GC in Detroit), and received an ATK 300 in Black from a GC in Florida. I even called the GC in Detroit to place the order and get the serial number so I could establish where and when it was made.........go figure
