Must have cowbell! How can you play the intro to Honkytonk Women without it?
We've gone through three drummers, all very good, in my five piece country band. No cowbells, thank goodness! A wooden block can be useful, and our current drummer has a snare with an ebony top rim that makes the most beautiful "clop" I've ever heard![]()

Or one cowbell with a cowbell pitchshifter pedal.
Can you get that with a double peddle?Put together one of these and you can play cowbell on every song you want.
