We've gone through three drummers, all very good, in my five piece country band. No cowbells, thank goodness! A wooden block can be useful, and our current drummer has a snare with an ebony top rim that makes the most beautiful "clop" I've ever heard

Absolutely! "HTW" is essentially a country song in blues-rock drag on the single version, but as demonstrated on 'Let It Bleed', a real down home sh!t kicker at heart.

Yeah well the guys down at the Cow Bell Union hall #429 don't think your "wooden block" comment was funny. If an inflatable rat holding a cow bell goes up at your next gig, don't say I didn't warn you.
