Show me your compact pedalboard setup

The octave/chorus thing makes sense. I feel like I could make my Octave stand out a bit more and maybe a chorus could do that.

Background: I just got a 2 for 1 deal on a phase 90 clone and a Boss CE-2 clone.

I LOVE the phase 90 circuit, it can get a little crazy, but I find that if you tame it, it'll sit well in the mix! and I think the CE-2 clone will be fantastic to, I owned a CE2 a while ago.

I feel like my board, even when it's small like this, is changing all the time. So we'll see how long this lasts. I don't know where else I could possibly go though without increasing my space. I'm happy to get my hands on a small Bass Comp. I've always loved the tone it gives, but the size and power requirements made it tricky to keep on boards.

The Becos Compiq is small and powerful, I bought one for my small pedal board that I use for band practice, it sounded so fantastic right out of the box, I may buy another one.

Man I would love a tiny comp with LED metering like this, but I love my Accountant... How's the Becos sound? (e.g. transparent, thick, etc)

Slight tweak to my new board had to replace my travel worn PSM5 with the LS2 and I was missing having a second dirty driver on my board so have the Fuzzrocious BDPG v1 there for now may try several others but i really would like to get my BrassMaster clone on there for legit tones-because- bassbrad has a new gig! My sub gig turned into a really lucrative offer for a very good 70-80's R&B - Soul cover band that does corporate and private events for very good money. Did good enough sigh reading except on the EWF, already practicing that. They thought i was bold showing up with my Zoom recorder to tape the gig, ha ha.

View attachment 3308177 Got the Hyper Luminal a few days ago and the Barber Linden last week. Very happy with both of them and my tone needs are pretty much complete with this compact setup! Cioks DC5 underneath powering everything.
I love the Hyper Luminal Compression pedal. I never was a big user of a compression pedal until I tried this one!

I’m really enjoying mine! It’s moved towards the end of the chain just before the Olympic preamp and I’m very happy with it there!

Previously had a big box Cali76-G which I loved but wasn’t happy with it combined with the Olympic preamp and it was very large so I replaced it with an Amptweaker Pressurizer which is also really good but is not your typical compressor setup. Got the Hyper Luminal as I wanted something with better metering and a bit more traditional setup, plus it had a bunch of other really cool features and I like the Darkglass stuff as well!

Here's my latest iteration. Signal chain goes bass - MXR Vintage Octave - A/Om - Joshwah - HX Stomp - to amp/FOH. The polymoon is in the loop of the HX stomp, and the DMC micro controls presets for the Polymoon. All of it fits on a Metro 16 and is powered by a Cioks Adam, with the exception of the Stomp.

I love the idea of a multieffects pedal and patches where the details can be very finely tuned, but I do need some effects to be more immediately accessible. My plan was to use the HX stomp for all of my set-and-forget effects (compressor, light OD, amp/cab sims, etc.) and my weird patches, but keep all the often-tweaked pedals as standalone units.

Revision two of my nano+. Ran the last one for about 2 years and plan to keep this one the way it is for quite a while (except maybe look at a dual Broadcast at some point):

Signal chain: Korg Pitchblack -> Doc Lloyd Photon Death Ray (optical compressor w/blend) -> johnk XO crossover distortion (4-band EQ, clean lows, drive circuit on highs that can be toggled on/off) -> Hudson Broadcast (transformer saturation and germanium dirt circuit) -> Electronix Submarine (little magic box!) -> Broughton P15 (tube preamp section of B15-N with DI out to FOH and effected 1/4" output to power amp)
