Yeah, why?!?!?But why stop at "all that you need"?![]()
All you need? C'est n'importe quoi!here is my compact board. It has all that I need.
Why have pedals that you don’t need/use.But why stop at "all that you need"?![]()
Firstly- solid, sweet and effective pedal choices. Why have pedals that you don’t need/use.
Signal loss, money for other things like basses and amps...

Hahaha I love pedals. My guitar pedalboard is already way to big but I want my bass board to be compact and clean.Hey this is no place for sound logic, reason, or sensibility! This is Talkbass!!!
I like the cable management. Are those a combination of cable runners and cable ties?I cleaned up the underside of my board:

Very nice ! I wrote a letter to Santa asking him to bring me a B7K Ultra...since he starts his trip from Rovaniemi Finland, i guess he can easily get me one, plus i support his local products
May i ask you, is this rig of yours noisy ? i see you got the ISP pedal there. I use a lot of drive but never felt like i need a gate, was wondering how do you get the max out of the decimator.
thanks in advance for your reply : )
They are those little cable runner blocks with cable ties yesI like the cable management. Are those a combination of cable runners and cable ties?
After liking how @kevk cut his 24" wide PT classic down to a Metro 24 sized board, I decided to make my own from the "Connect it" system (From Bunnings - the Aussie Home Depot) which uses 25mm Aluminium tube and plastic joiners for corners/intersections and a carpet covered piece of 12mm pine board. I then made another version the size of a Pedaltrain jr to take one extra pedal and my G50 wireless which is set up to use either a battery underneath or a One spot. The metro sized board fits in a Gator MULTIFX 2411 Gig bag. It's a little big, so I can put my 2 Ultimate stands in there also. It wasn't intended, but works well.
Still trying to work out which lay out I like. Both have merit. I now have what I would call 3 compact boards. It's a sickness I tell you! All have the same basic abilities, but all have differences also. Lots of pics of both below!

What are those nice short 1/4" cables that you are using to connect the chain?
A combo of the EBS flat patch cables and some George L’s for some custom length.
It’s the Leslie mod. Really adds a cool sound to an already great pedal
