Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Santa arrived earlier for me this year

with....

Truetone 1spot + Truetone MC-5 Daisy chain
Pedaltrain Nano + and a pair of Ibanez patch cables i found to be a major upgrade from my previous ones.

I also did some elementary cable management underneath ! Btw i saw noise reduction at about 80%-85% from the cheap thomann power supply i had before. Rig is almost silent now, looking forward to buy another ibanez cable in order to replace the one connecting tuner and comp.

i downsized to 4 from 5 pedals deciding that i can get equally convincing high gain tones from ODB-3, and removed the MT-2 i had for the same use. Ι ve got Α-Ω under my radar the last few weeks...i need more gain and metallic grind on my basic sound, than the one BDI can give me...

thank you all for reading : )

Tidy!

Thank you :)

Another thing i d like to add is that i decided to flip all base plates on boss pedals and screw them inside out, in order to vecro them the best way possible, without having to velcro over the rubber bottom, or remove it.

i ve heard before that this can't be done to newer models of Boss, because there is no space inside.

seems like my newish TU-3 had plenty of space,

and this is possibly a valid method even for newer pedals.

It depends on the pedal. I’ve had some flip and others that wouldn’t.

I love this board of yours ! I use odb-3 as well and, have AΩ under my radar the last few weeks, can you please share some thoughts on how boss stacks over darkglass ? I use the behringer di for now, and it manages to remove all harshness and noise from odb-3, retaining the brutality of the pedal unaffected. Can the Darkglass bring similar results ? Odb-3 is a better friend with A or Ω ?
Thanks in advance for your reply :)

I like the HPF underneath, how did you mount that?

Originally it was too high to fit underneath while still having some clearance. I removed the backplate and cut out a new one out of a plastic phone case that would sink in the enclosure a bit. I used super strong double adhesive tape on the sides to attach it to the board. Really happy with the result!

Another solution is to put a few washers as spacers between the feet and the board.

I like the ODB-3 most when stacked into the Darkglass. Just set for a light overdrive or mild boost. I am not a fan of the ODB-3 on it's own. I do find the ODB-3 to be quite noisy and the darkglass could certainly be dialed in to help tame some of the noise. However I dont really mind a whole lot of noise, most of the bands I play in are noisy sludge metal bands anyways.

I've since switched to using a Way Huge Russian Pickle as my primary fuzz. The ODB-3 will still remain in my studio though.
