I'm also using a cutting board for a pedalboard. Cheap and it serves it purpose. ;-)

I tried unplugging both the guitar cables from the input and output but it does not turn off. Only disconnecting the power works. This does not seem right

Radial HDI. Can be used live or recording.

I've heard a number of Nicki Tedesco's covers on FB, and she has the Tone Pump...sounds brutal enough to cover AIC covers, so....

That, is a Blacky Blower Bass Distortion by Build Your Weapon Audio. Built by Jean-Yves ‘Blacky’ Thériault. Bassist formerly of Voivod.

here’s the site...

Thank you! :)

Yesterday I added on board the Devi Ever Year Of The Rat,
which I built according to the scheme found on the web, slightly modifying it.
I learned about this pedal last year, when I was developing an application for planning a pedalboard,
I watched video reviews - I liked the sound.
But I remembered about it only in February and decided to make myself a birthday present,
because it is also symbolic, because I was born in the year of the Rat :)
Appearance made with the effect of shabby paint.

Nice! Why you modified the original scheme? I'm planning on adding a RAT type of distorition in my pedalboard, this one can be on the table.
Also, what's a shabby paint? How did you applied that?
Thanks.

Thank you so much!
I’m not sure that this circuit is original, although the author claimed that he composed it on the printed circuit board of the pedal itself. When I assembled it on the maket, the sound was different from the original pedal, when compared with video reviews. Therefore, I decided to replace one resistor with a larger value and add a capacitor in parallel with it. Then the sound became more similar and more saturated with harmonics. This is actually not distortion like the Rat, but clean boost with fuzz undertones. And I called the effect of shabby paint the appearance, because I specially applied the image poorly, as if the paint had worn off from time and use.

just upgraded a couple pedals for my heavy band board of mini death

Its really nothing terribly different, except for swapping out the for the newer model fett (it works better for my EGC bass), so I'll likely flip my version 1. I find that if I goose the treble a bit more it can sound similar to the V1. I also went through a fahhhkton of reverb pedals and came back to the mantic, just with an oscillation switch that works great; gets huge but never out of control to absurd levels.
