Show me your compact pedalboard setup

How do you like EBS MB3?

I own EBS MB2 myself...
Love it.
I guess everyone has different tastes but for me it does so much and does it so well. As a tone machine you've got great EQ options and then lots of dirt options too ... plus a tuner, compressor, aux in, phones out, DI and although they don't call it cab sim, the tone dial on the dirt channel can remove any top end harshness. Very happy with it.

Finally took the time to design and build a passive hpf / lpf. So far, this is only a prototype for testing at home and at the next rehearsal. In the future, I will replace the case and choose the best place on PB. But the chain will most likely remain as it is now: bass -> dual muff fuzz [diy] -> source audio soundblox pro multiwave bass distortion -> zoom ms-60b -> passive hpf / lpf [diy] -> mxr bass d.i. +

What is your opinion on the bass di+? I've been thinking about getting one, but I'm still thinking about it. I like the way it looks and sounds, but I haven't tried one in person.

Covid homemade board build. Let's be honest, the most important "effect" is top left.

^^^Yeah, it's an analog beer bottle enhancer. Is that a good idea?
Just kidding, of course it's a good idea. I couldn't control my urges.
Fun project, cost me about $15 including the paint, handles, and opener to build. Might make another with room for a preamp, a Black '65 overdrive and expression pedal. But there's always room for a beer opener.

So, I'm all for whatever gets the beer flowing, but do you mount this to the wall - or just blast beer down low horizontally over all your pedals? I know you to be a reasonable man. There's clearly a 3rd option that I'm not seeing.

p.s. - if you ever market your own line of pedalboards, Killing Floor is a great name.

I like it and it really does its job. Very flexible and quite versatile.
But there are also disadvantages for me - in particular, the distortion channel, it does not fit into the music we play, however, I found a separate use for it - on the distortion channel, I set the gain and blend to 0, thereby, including the distortion channel, I was just I turn on Color (on a clean channel, the Color button is off), so I can either use only the 3-band equalizer, or mix in a preset tone setting.

MXR M80 EQ Tone controls:

Bass + -18 dB @ 60 Hz, shelving
Mid + -10 dB @ 850 Hz
Treble + -12 dB @ 4 kHz, shelving

And the Color button does:

+ 6dB @ 80 Hz
-6dB @ 650 Hz

My first preamp was Hartke Bass Attack, I also really liked it, but its dimensions are not very convenient for me, and the overload channel in this version was not adjusted, in the next version it was modified.
And I was planning to purchase a new version, but it was not in my city and I had to choose from what was and not wait for delivery, so now I have MXR M80.

But ideally, I would like to buy either the Olympic or the Noble when there is enough money ..

In case anyone is interested in using the BCB30 in slightly unusual ways...
I removed the centre-left plastic framing with a hot soldering iron and added the carpet to raise the EBS so that in and out Jack's don't hit the plastic.

Works great ... and maybe even room for one more :)
How are those Vong HPFs mate, DIY?

Finally took the time to design and build a passive hpf / lpf.
Would love to see a pic of the innards if you have one!

Again, pushing the limits of "compact", and pending the arrival of a looper switch to bypass the Boss pedals, the latest iteration after NPD.

I think it makes sense having the Reverb/Delay after the Chorus, but it does skew the landscape. View attachment 3969328

Have you tried Octave in to Compressor rather than vice versa?

I will have to try Compressor in to Octave...
