What is your opinion on the bass di+? I've been thinking about getting one, but I'm still thinking about it. I like the way it looks and sounds, but I haven't tried one in person.
I like it and it really does its job. Very flexible and quite versatile.
But there are also disadvantages for me - in particular, the distortion channel, it does not fit into the music we play, however, I found a separate use for it - on the distortion channel, I set the gain and blend to 0, thereby, including the distortion channel, I was just I turn on Color (on a clean channel, the Color button is off), so I can either use only the 3-band equalizer, or mix in a preset tone setting.
MXR M80 EQ Tone controls:
Bass + -18 dB @ 60 Hz, shelving
Mid + -10 dB @ 850 Hz
Treble + -12 dB @ 4 kHz, shelving
And the Color button does:
+ 6dB @ 80 Hz
-6dB @ 650 Hz
My first preamp was Hartke Bass Attack, I also really liked it, but its dimensions are not very convenient for me, and the overload channel in this version was not adjusted, in the next version it was modified.
And I was planning to purchase a new version, but it was not in my city and I had to choose from what was and not wait for delivery, so now I have MXR M80.
But ideally, I would like to buy either the Olympic or the Noble when there is enough money ..
