Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Threw this together for an indie/rock project: part of an art shipping crate with packing material (blue foam, slit to pass power cable, screwed to bottom of board). Ampless so far, with IEMs. Drummer and guitarist are loud (drummer has IEMs, guitarist not), so the Messenger feeds the board and my IEMs, bass level up just enough to mix with the ambient sound. Learned today that vocalist has not had bass in her IEM mix, another story, but it did explain some things. At any rate the board’s main purpose is to speed set-up/tear down.

I don't know how durable that blue foam will be, but it's a great idea!

Thanks. My main board is a Temple Solo 18. This one represents a half-hour of work with at-hand materials, and is destined to be a a convenience for temporary situations. It would be trivial to build up sides and stick a different power supply underneath, too. At any rate, I shared it to add to the collection of what one can do for little or no money.

I've rejiggered my nano. Now, it's set up as basically a modular rig-simulator (compressor>pre-amp>tone stack>power amp>cab sim), that can be used to silently practice, record, send to a monitor, et cetera, and where all the individual pieces can be switched on and off as desired, though the PDR and Element stay on all the time.

How's the Kill Face, have read some mixed reviews online?

Depends on what you are looking for. From what I have read online vs what I have experienced doesn't quite add up. It's definitely on the "dark" side, as in it's eq for some reason does cut a significant amount of highs from the mix but I play bright strings and feel like I have a lot of treble in my fingers for some reason so for me it works perfectly. The eq on the AOU after it is there to bump anything up if necessary.

I keep the settings pretty close to what's in the picture and for me it's just the perfect amount of break up and mid bump.

Honestly with the tone up and the gain rolled completely off it still just adds "something" to the sound that works for my ears. YMMV

Loaded up my board with a WMD, which I jumped on when it came up used on this side of the pond - they're pretty rare over here. I thought it was going to be completely crazy based on some of the YT reviews and that I was going to be at risk of an IED blowing up in my face but, to my slight disbelief, it's turned out to have a surprising number of usable settings and first impressions are that it's actually a more versatile "gated fuzz" than the Mastotron which it has (at least for now) displaced from my board. But even in this Civilian mode, the WMD does make the Mastotron seem pretty un-savage in comparison.
