Show me your compact pedalboard setup

View attachment 4991258
Not sure this qualifies as compact... My blues band pedal board is smaller... This is about as small as I go with the HX though. The MXR comp is off the board at this point. The re/Q is primarily there for the HPF/LPF and to solve room problems.

The wireless receivers drive Left and Right in on the stomp. The Spectrum and Future Compact are in the Stomp's EFX loops. The ext switches are both set to tuner on/off. The HX, Spectrum and Future compact are all controlled by the MC6. Spectrum is using the 'new' Source Audio SA-168 midi interface.

This is pretty close to complete for the upcoming outdoor festival season.
How do you compare the filters in Spectrum and Future Impact?

Updated…added a SushiBoxFX MORE—takes my PC-2A (and overall bass tone) to another level…

My small board. Just got the C4 and the DMC Micro. What an amazing pedal!

Signal chain:
Bass > OC2 > C4 Synth > Compact Bass > B7k Ultra > XLR Out

Really love the cabsim of the B7KU. Currently using the IR Pack by Shiftline. Love it so much!

Looks great! Not sure how exactly you are running your C4 with the Micro, but, there is a very good OC2 preset out in the Neuro community for the C4. Maybe the C4 could replace your OC2 making room for something else?

I’m a DB player but I have a little board I use with my loud touring band with a magnetic pickup.

Aguilar Octamizer > Aguilar TLC Compressor > Bassbone OD (into channel B) > Korg Pitchblack Mini. Board itself is a Pedaltrain Nano, power supply is an Eventide PowerMini. You can also spy my earplug holder and an allen wrench to adjust my pickup’s pole positions on the fly. I also have a spare patch cable velcroed to the bottom of the board, in case I get an dead connector on stage.

This board is mostly utility pedals (save the octave) but it seems like it always sends a strong signal to the FOH.

Random thought........in looking back at a bunch of posted boards trying to determine what might be subjectively chosen as parameters to define "compact", I like 8 pedals as a maximum. A definition based on board surface area would probably be even better, but I don't know where I'd draw that line. In my head, once the number of pedals gets to 9, 10 or more, it's no longer compact.

I think that function as well as Feng Shui must be considered, too...:cigar:

Two NANO's joined by industrial Velcro.

That's a good point. I had not considered efficiency/ compactness of the layout itself. I guess we'll need a 300 person committee to derive a 50 point set of criteria to define "compact" LOL.

Why does that fuzz pedal sell for $1500

They are half of that direct (but you have to wait) but as you see reverb re-sellers will do what they do. Its a very fancy custom muff tweaked for bass from a famous Japanese guitar tech which he makes in very small volumes. I've been using a wren and cuff pickle pie B for years and years for this band but got this on a lark and was a bit shocked that I actually loved it. I replaced the pickle a few practices ago and played our last show with this and it all just felt right. The additional controls don't overwhelm using the pedal but offers well considered functionality to 'change the platform' while keeping the primary control simple.

That's cool. I would be sad to put my foot on it though lol
