I wanted a smaller board for playing at church so I bought a Temple Solo18 and a Cioks SOL. Cables are Caulfield.

What a killer board that is.. great joband of course the good ole 3leaf/IE combo board. the atcibg prisms and xerograph switched placesView attachment 5022534
I vote less than 20” in width.Maybe we should define what compact is because there are many boards posted here that are fat from being compact
I vote less than 20” in width.
But that is just “a small board”. Could be a 20” Metro with a TU-3 at on end and a cockeyed Muff at the other: decidedly NOT compact.
Lol fair point. If we’re trying to come up with a simple definition though, we will quickly disappear into the rabbit hole of specifics if we’re trying to define things like how pedals are attached, arranged, hanging off the edge, top vs side jacks, pedal shape, etc.
Since there’s a lot less variance in pedalboard depth or height, to me width is an easy way to limit what’s in and what’s out for this thread without becoming the pedalboard police haha. Just my .02.
Update.
MXR M76 now on the board
This will be it for a while.
(Realizes he can fit at least 3 more on XPND....oh crap..)View attachment 5025035
See, @Eric Cioe that’s where I think the distinction between small and compact is important. I feel all of yours, including the Metro 20 are compact!
I don't think it would be policing, let's be honest regardless of how you define it there will always be that person that post a board with like 11 pedals on it. I think we could define a small board no more than 5 pedals. Single depth only. I think that's a fair definition...Lol fair point. amd of course i forgot the pic lol. Cheers TB and have a great holy weekso since my boards are now bigger than the required size for this thread. here is a pedaltrain NANO . single tier 5-6 pedals w/ a volto underneath. i hope this complies with our new thread rules. Cheers Tb!
I find that reasonable too.I don't think it would be policing, let's be honest regardless of how you define it there will always be that person that post a board with like 11 pedals on it.
