Show me your compact pedalboard setup

As someone running almost this same board, how do you like the Darkglass and Super Vintage on the same board? I essentially just use my Stomp for other effects at this point and use the cab sim on my X Ultra (until my Super Vintage arrives). Do you prefer the Super Vintage cab sim over the Darkglass?
I really, really like the SV. It is the heart and soul of that board. Honestly, the Stomp is a glorified tuner, source of weird sounds and pitch shifter for learning songs. (The Stomp is excellent and can do way more than that - I used it as my main tone generator until I got the SV.) I use the Infinity as a rage machine for angry overdrive sounds. I was actually surprised that I like it better than my Photon, because I like the AO Ultra better than the B7K.

I think the SV and the DG compliment each other. The SV gives nice “traditional” bass tones and the DG can overpower everything else when I want modern, aggressive sounds.

In terms of cab sims, I generally am not a fan. From my point of view, a cab sim is just an EQ withou much in the way of controls. Having said that the analog “cab sim” of the SV works for me. On the Stomp, I found that I preferred to mix the cab sim back in with the original signal. On the DG stuff, I don’t care for the cab sims on the Ultras, but some of the ones on the digital pedals are usable to control the DG high end.

My favorite cab sim, though, if a graphic EQ, optionally with a high pass filter and a low pass filter. The Stomp can definitely do that.

My setup is almost identical to yours. Bass > TU-3 tuner > Stomp > DG X Ultra > SV. What I like about the 8x10 DG cab sim, is that I don’t have to mess with mics and distances and whatnot. It’s ready to go and sounded killer at my last show. But I want the low drive of the SV. I’m hoping the cab sim on the SV is just as good as the DG since I don’t bring an amp to shows anymore.

I also really dig the modern/vintage tone and I think I’ll be using it the same way you’re describing. Use the EQ on the DG and maybe adjust a little on the SV, but use the SV as the tone and the DG as an aggressive distortion.

My stomp essentially gets used for effects I only use every once in a while that I don’t want to buy a pedal for.

The board that I used in the studio last weekend. It's a pedaltrain Nano+ and a pedaltrain Mini bolted together with custom wood feet that I made myself.

I've tried to keep it as compact and feature full as I can, but I'm not sure if i'll get kicked out of the club now! haha :D

Hah! We must be cut from the same mold. The only cab sims I end up being even somewhat happy with are 810’s. Also, I too really like the SV’s light grit, but I mainly use it for cleaner tones. The SV cab sim’s controls are “here you go!” and that nicely avoids the problems of simulated mic choices, placement, etc.

Built a quick little board out of what i had in the garage. Power and an H9 under the board. The trondheim pedal is my preamp(eq, comp, switchable overdrive). I use the para eq in the stomp last in chain for some lpf/hpf and some slight cut around 500hz.

All utility things comes from the hx(pitch, mod, sub, filter) and craziness from the H9(glitchy, synth, different reverbs).

Can I see your H9 under mounted? This is intriguing.

That's a cool looking setup and board!
What's the top (silver) pedal surface made of?
And how are you using the triple switch?

Any pics with the hood up?:)
