Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Interesting EQ. You roll off all the bass with the Sushi Box and then add them all back with the Zio and cut all the treble. I would think all 3 need to be always on or you get a real difference.
Looks like just no Treble enhancement on any pedal (flat or zero Tilt) and not distorting the low end but has big mid forward and hella Bass on the ZIO (no scoop, obviously) and a significant cut with the HPF on the bottom.

Probably not slapping...

lol no slap fer sure - and the lows are very much controlled because of the focus high pass filter.

Current eq for Fender P 4 tuned BEAD strung with flats…

And now for something completely different.

Don’t laugh. :)

So I ran out of pedal boards and I wanted to create a simple board to live at the rehearsal space.

I present to you the Styrofoam-board-that-has-been-taking-up-space-in-my-closet-for-years (1.0). :eyebrow:

I figured “Why not?!”

Feast your eyes on this!

Powered by a one-spot.

Pedals subject to change.

Heck, styrofoam subject to change! :cigar:

Yeah...I didn't know what to do with a sliver of free time that I possessed today.

I’m starting a new garage rock project, and the guitarist and I had been halfheartedly looking for a keyboard player when it occurred to me that most of the organ parts follow either the bass or the guitar. So I got an SY-1 to save us the trouble of finding a human, and built a new compact board around that. The expression pedal is there to alter the rate of the organ warble on the fly, and the MS-100 is loaded with all the MS-60B sounds so it’s serving mostly as an amp/cab sim—high fidelity isn’t important for this band although some of those amps actually sound really good; I haven’t played with my Zoom FX for a while and had forgotten how well it punches above its weight. Tuner function also clutch, and I’ll probably add an EQ and HPF in there as well. Maybe a comp. And if I ever need another effect, it’s there. Still need to re-wire the whole thing with appropriate length cables, but it sounded pretty great in testing.

I literally cut the new pedalboard out of an old redwood shelf—since both FX pedals can run off battery, no need to raise it high enough to put a power supply under there (or bring wall warts to a gig), but I did add little rubber feet to help it stay put on stage.

Pretty brilliant solution there.

Great job going diy! As a woodworker I’d recommend you put one or two more feet in the middle, or consider cutting a new piece of wood oriented with the grain going long ways. Unfortunately, the way you’ve cut it puts pressure (when stomping) along the weak bond between the grain.

This has been my gigging board lately. The Noble has been staying home as of late. I prefer the sound out of the Noble, but I’m paranoid of something happening to it.

I have been using my QSC CP12 for an “amp” lately. I dig it. I send the XLR off of the SGT-DI to FOH and the 1/4” to the QSC. Wow, that’s a lot of abbreviations! :roflmao:

I did just order the new Cali 76. Sweetwater happened to have an open box one. Undecided if I’ll keep the old one to use with the Noble for another board or what.

Right. I stopped by to make a similar rec. Unless you want a dramatic smash-the-equipment moment of entertainment in shows, in which case a series of well-executed repairs would make it stronger. Over time.
