Yeah, Pete does do some amazing tops!!!This is probably the most beautiful of my "wood" or "natural" basses, as I tend to favor paint jobs. My Skjold Zia 5, bought directly from Pete in 2018. Still one of the easiest playing, best sounding, and nicest looking basses I own.

Spector always has some ridiculous flamed and quilted tops!!!

Spector isn’t made for me (their bodies are just too small) but goodness, their wood works are amazing ! They are masterpieces IMO.
