Show me your living room rig

That little pedal-looking thing is actually a Quilter Interbass head, through an EA Wizzy 112 cabinet.

This was my gigging rig for a few years, believe it or not. The Wizzy is very efficient so the 44 watts the Quilter puts out got loud enough for my band, with PA support where necessary. I’ve now downsized that even further with a little GK combo through the PA, so this one is for the living room. My old bigger heavier rig is in our practice space.

This was my music space, until my wife called me either a hermit or a mushroom and actually encouraged me to move some of it up in our living room.

I like it better up in the living room where it's a little more inspiring. I converted an old, antique magazine rack into a writing/recording/practice "endtable" that I can easily slide back next to my recliner...

I can use headphones or my amp.

First of all, apologies for the awful photo. Lighting sucks in my living room!

Here’s mine. I’m single, and judging by all the “i’m not allowed” posts in this thread you all have reaffirmed my gratitude for that fact. Also, both my kids live with me and play as well… the Jag and Dano on the left are my daughter’s.

The marriage part isn't that bad! At least for me it isn't. My wife allows me to have an entire room in the basement that I use for practicing, gear storage & home studio stuff. The area that I take over when she's away is used more for entertaining & such....

Yeah, the "diapers" as she calls them are corner treatments. The (DIY) donut panels damp the first-reflection points on the sidewall, and there are big corner traps behind the listening position.

The behemoths are Bowers & Wilkins Matrix 800, circa 1992. Only about 250 pairs were ever made. They're like an old Lamborghini Countach, I suppose. Sure, you can drive a Honda Civic off the lot that will smoke the Lambo that was on that poster you had in the 7th grade -- but there's a magic in that old supercar that a new thing cannot match.

There aren't many speakers systems that will "smoke" yours. Those are pretty badass!
