This may have a thread in the past, if so sorry to rehash it.

Going through my basses and decided to take a picture of my Peavey basses. Two T40's, One T20, One Foundation, and One Foundation"S" with active P&J pickups.

Second bass I ever owned was a Peavey T40 back in 1981

My trusty old T-20,T-45 & some strange thin stringed short thing called a SC-2. T-40s. The T-405, 5 string mod. Tragic & Void PXD's with a Zephyr in the middle. Lastly 3 Zodiacs.2 are DE Scorpios, 1 of them has Entwistle Neos instead of the Seymour Duncans.

New clan member expected this week :)

Favourites are the modded Zephyr,Grind BXP and the T-20. The bass I play most though isn't a full blown Peavey. It's a mega cheap Harley Benton PB-50 with a Super Ferrite and TI jazz flats.

Don't have a pic of it, it I have an 86 Foundation S that I bought new. Was my number one for a number if years and has the battle scars to prove it. Frankly at the time I was looking at and trying a bunch of different basses. Fenders, Ibanezs, Arias and whatever else I could get my hands on. The Peavey was a better bass than the others by far and way cheaper than the Fender offerings at the time. In fact I thought the Fender were the worst of the ones I tried.

Anyway still have it, it's been a test bed of sorts over the years for different pups and preamp. I put the Dimmarzio pups back in it that I used for years. They originally came with a Dimarrzio preamp that has long ago died. Not quite as hot as a Model P or Model J but really good sounding pups. It's the only bass I kept when I quit for 20 years and it'll be the last one to go when I'm done.
