It looks messy but I am still figuring out the wiring routing, there is some room to spare in case another pedal joins the family.

Yes and no (no in the sens that I don't use drive on my Origin board).
I use the Darkglass like a brutal modern deep/subbass drive/distortion, but the DCX is on the EQ not on the Drive. On the Origin pedal board I use only clean sounds, with more midrange. It's my main pedalboard (for Funk, Jazz, Pop music etc.). The DCX is another preamp sound, warmer, and the SV is my hard mid push sound.
The Empress, Darkglass, SansAmp pedalboard is my metal board, agressive, more scooped punchy sound, and brutal Darkglass distortion.
I play with 3 bands (1 progressive nu-metal; 2 - indie/funk/rock; 3 - jazz fusion) and I'm going ampless.
I don't need a lot of effects (octaver, chorus), but I need more character/diversity in my sound. With my prog nu-metal band I use both boards for clean slap (very high compression on Empress or little bit softer compression on Cali76 for fuller sound), distorted slap, clean/distortion with ultra deep sound, focused crisp mid clean, scooped etc., and live I have all the tonal variety without changing the settings on pedals between songs.
P.S. And I'm recordig a lot in studio for pop artists.

It’s a work in progress. I’m thinking about getting the Aguilar Chorusaurus to replace my Boss Bass Chorus pedal. And the Keeley Bassist compressor? Total game changer!!!

If you haven't already, consider fooling around with the pedal order - you might have better luck with the VT Bass at the end of your chain, and OD before chorus. There's no rules obviously but the traditional pedal order for most applications would be:

Tuner -> Keeley Bassist -> Octamizer -> BB-1X -> CE-2B -> VT Bass

The Keeley is also an awesome limiter, so if you're getting big spikes in your playing dynamics consider trying it out at the end of your chain, before your amp.

Just got this together so needed to show someone! Tuner>Cali76>Capo, effects are in pre and post loops of the capo with fuzz/calamity in pre and OD/Scorpion in post. Already think I need to flip the fmeron and fuzz in chain but maybe for the first time ever, everything worked first time around!

There's a CIOKS Sol power supply under the board, which is a Pedaltrain Nano+.

I'm pretty happy with it. I started with the tuner, compressor, and a Microtubes Infinity, but something about the Darkglass preamp made my tone sound dull. I returned it and tried a B7K Ultimate, same thing. So I replaced that with a Vintage MT and B3K, and added the Magellan Pre, and to me it sounds much better. A clear and detailed clean tone, some added harmonic content with the Vintage at low gain, and a more aggressive distortion from the B3K. I'm only using the contour controls on the Magellan for tone shaping at the moment.

I have a Magellan 800 amp head, so I decided to get the Magellan Pre so that I can duplicate my tone on the amp head and swap out the pre for another pedal if I choose. But if I am playing through someone else's amp, or no amp at all, I can take my sound with me.

The Ibanez L- and 10- series pedals in the bottom row are easy to swap to different models (I have Delay II and Bi-mode Chorus in the shelf and FLL Flanger/Swell Flanger on my list).
Nux Solid Studio acts as a cab sim DI and through its parallel out the signal goes to the LPF/HPF and to the amp.

Boss Line Selector has the Digitech Tonedriver (the one without the "hood" since it's switch is a bit unwieldy) and Bi-Fet preamp in one loop (Bi-Fet pushes the Tonedriver into more overdrive when needed) and the Broughton filter in the other loop. The Ibanez pedals change every now and then (I have lots of L- and 10 series pedals) and the other Bi-Fet preamp is the end of chain sweetener before the amp/cab box.
The clean/dirty system with the Line Selector works great and also can be used with stereo basses (I just then plug the other pickup into the Broughton Filter) and it has saved me from the endless search for the perfect bass overdrive which doesn't eat low end. The Tonedriver which is a 90's X-series guitar pedal (it basically "emulates" pedals from Dod250 to various Tube Screamers) cuts all the low end which helps with the blending. If I use the board with the guitar I just use the dirty loop of the LS-2.

I've been on here long enough to say I've learned to never say "I'm done." That being said, this is really, really close. In praise of the Aguilar Tone Hammer amps, this is the first time since I started played bass, that I don't have an always-on preamp/dirt specifically for the amp. That Tone Hammer can be clean, grindy, gritty, overdriven, or fuzzy.... it's powering a pair of MarkBass NY121 cabs, and I'm super happy with this pedalboard. Pick tin is full of .88 Tortex triangle picks... This is an original Pedaltrain PT1, and that original hardcase is still going strong!

Pitchblack > Cali76 > POG > Emma > MXR BOD > MXR Vibe > Bass-Drive > Carcosa > Alpha-Omicron > Phase 95 > Phase 90 > H2O

Are you just turning knobs on the Tone Hammer in order to cycle through those different tonal options? Trying to sort out how one could practically make fast changes mid-show without a foot-switch of some sort.

Make no mistake, phaser/vibe is my favourite modulation effect by a country mile. But even I've never rocked three on the same board before. Swirly!

And no, you are never "done" LOL. The journey can get pretty close to conclusion, but until you hang up your bass for good, the book never quite seems to close!

No, I'm not cycling thru Aggie presets.... just saying, whatever you want - it's in there!

I've only recently started to sparingly use chorus. I've used vibe on bass when a lot of others would use chorus, it's shaky/swirly, but without the glassy high end. MXR EVH Phase 90 might be THE ONE pedal I couldn't play bass without!!! I use it a lot throughout the set. Phase 95 is used on top of the 90 for fast phase swirls. If only MXR would release a Phase 95 with a fast/slow switch for 2 speeds. Until then, this does a great job. (side note: Flower pedals' Castilleja phaser is a fantastic orange box with an extra footswitch & loads of options).
