is going to look like this.

I'll have the wrap "wrapped" up this weekend!!!
yeah :hyper::bassist:

Very Very nice. What kind of material is that?

It a premium wrap film by 3M called Controltac with a 3M over-laminate. It's the same material for vehical wraps. Very durable.

That looks just great! Is this an expensive ( I know that's relative ) thing to do?

This Checkerboard beauty was at Mike Lull's this past weekend...........I know who owns it, just wish it was mine :hmm:

NICE!! I actually sold Jeff a Hamer 12 a few months back (ironically, one of his own endorser models...so I assume that he really does still play them!)

Is that checkerbord Lull a setneck or is that just a reflection of the body finish on the bolt-on, making it look lke a setneck?

It's a bolt-on neck for sure, Mike doesn't build any neck -thru basses. And I understand Tom Peterson is pretty interested in one too.

That is one funky green finish '58, how does it look under the lights?

The paint on that bass is AMAZING! under certain lights it shows lots blue and yellow in addition to the green, the application is flawless, very nice build quality too. This one is basically new, but 17 years old.

I told you a lot about mine, and now you can see a live version of what I always meant :)

for the few TBX's around I still would love to find that elusive blue one :(

Luv that green Jackson ! Mark glad you got it ! My latest addition to the flock, my second Bach TH-1. This one is in trans cherry and I installed a Seymour Duncan Custom shop 60's Thunderbird pickup under a '76 cover and one of my repro pickguards. This bass rocks !

Not a Gibson, but a rare and beautiful Jackson from 1993. It's virtually new!

We need to see a pic with your whole arsenal together! Impressive Flock you have.
Another excuse to post my new found loves,
67 Non-Reverse T-Bird and 89 Orville Reverse, Since getting the 67 I have the right TR cover installed and a tugbar,, I have a Bach TH2 on the way and I'm always looking..

I hereby strongly defend that every Tbird thread on this forum should be locked down untill Mr. TBird1958 gets us his full-arsenal photo of Tbirds! (subaru'd or not)

Perhaps then I'll share a photo or two of my 5 string, aguilar-activated, stainless-steel-pickguarded studio Gibson Thunderbird.. :D

Let's see the Fiver! and everybody else's 'Birds.
I'm still looking for a Cherry Studio 5 :bassist:

As soon as it warms up just a bit here in Seattle that's the plan. We had a pretty warm El Nino Winter with very little frost, but now that's it's Spring here we have cold and even a bit of snow this morning, so no outdoor pics. A new format is likely too, at least for the group shot and hopefully a surprise or two to share.

That's what I wanted! But when I got mine, they where almost gone everywhere!

It doesn't rain inside..

I'll see what I can do for the 5'er pic.

True! Except there's no room in the house that I can pose the all the basses and still get a shot.........Time for a new house!
