I have 1 question for the Thunderbird players.

How do you even reach the 18, 19 and 20th frets?

If you play a TBird, you don't go that high.

Quickie digression: what's the neck like on those things? I do know that there's no way I've ever been able to handle a Les Paul, SG, or Explorer with anything resembling ergonomic safety or comfort, as far as their guitars go. I'll hoist a T-Bird whenever I get the chance.

Yes they're Nordstrand Dual Coils with an Aguilar OP3.

Yeah, I have an Epiphone Thunderbird, I bought it used in February. As soon as I saw it I knew I needed it. I'd like to get an Epiphone Blackbird and a Epiphone Non-Reverse Thunderbird too, and about 12 others in different colours and tunings. They're such an awesome bass. Does anyone know when the Gibson Shavo Odadjian and the new Nikki Sixx Thunderbirds are going to be released?
