ive loved warwicks since i started playing bass. every time i see one i dont hesitate to play it. show me yours and ill show you mine (well a pick of the one i like anyway)

i played one of these in a natural finish/ bleach blonde style finish and it was literally the best bass ive ever player, it topped a few ken smiths, a ritter and a benevente

^ SCHLONG ALERT ^ streamers are the only warwicks i can cosmetically tollerate. the schlong warwick sounds damn good though.

i used to hate streamers, i thought they looked dumb. that was before i played a 5 and a 6 string streamer, theyre pretty nice, id get one if i had the money for sure

Here's my Streamer Stage I (1991)... looks worn (it is on the surface ) but sounds great, if you like the tone. I don't, so it's for sale anyway. I want a jazz tone.

I saw a gorgeous Streamer 5 string the other day - it wasn't the normal 'blond' natural finish, it had this gorgeous slightly orange stain on the wood (which was also beautiful), and the thru-neck was absolutely stunning - the guy who was playing it is calle Mateus Nova, cool name, good player he deserves that bass - picked it up second hand apparently - he's another London dude.

How does that balance sitting down? That lower horn looks waaaaay too short.

I've always found Warwicks (with the exception of a lot of thumb neck through body models) to be VERY visually attractive.

I like the way Warwicks look, nothing else looks like one.

Does anyone have any sound clips of a Warwick? Especially a Corvette Standard?

Also, do the Warwicks that don't have front fret markers, do they have side markers?

I might be interested in buying that Thumb, could you give some ideas on it, tone, balance, etc etc...Whats your price?
And since you live in the UK and I live on the other side of the water (Belgium that is), shipping shouldn't be too much of a problem..

Here's a pic of my Streamer LX 5-string, the 1st pic isn't that great but shows more of the body while the 2nd pic shows the color better. Swapped out the stock MEC preamp with an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp recently with fantastic results. Highly recommended. Previous owned Warwicks include a Corvette Standard (sorry no pics), played that one for 7 years until I sold it to fund the Streamer LX.
