Stuart Spector looks so cool. And a lot like Santa.

LOL. I'll tell him that.
He's way cool. And a very talented musician himself... ironically he's not a bassist but he's a guitarist and keyboardist.
He's a walking encyclopedia of jazz and blues music/musicians from the 1920's onward.
He's a very humble, nice guy.

And if you're like me and you've been hit with a terminal case of SPECTOR GAS... he's not a lot like Santa... HE IS SANTA!

I have a bass clef on/around my elbow. btw... I don't recommend getting a tattoo on your elbow.

It's a good thing you don't tattoo the names of all the bands you're in...you'd need an extra body.

I got this one about a year ago.
The idea was originally a polynesian "quarter sleeve" with a bass. clef inside of it. I just brought a picture of the clef to the tattoo artist, he drew the rest.
I´m thinking about adding something to it so it will end up as a half sleeve.

Dude! If he hadn't added the outer lines this would be a great bass to take as a starting point to grow out from! It is still a really neat bass if I may say s though

I know exactly what you mean. After a while I wanted to add to it but im not sure how because it´s "closed". Im happy with the straight line in the front, thats what I asked for. But I regret not aking him to leave it open in the back.

You would have to be ******** to get a bass tattoo. I think it is funny that some of you would admit to that.

I think you would have to be "********" to go into a thread that have clearly no interest in, just to demonstrate to the whole world that you have little intelligence, I cant believe that some people would do that! ...but that's just my opinion!

If he thickens the lines that "closed the tattoo" to about a 1/4" thick, he can create panels that are of similar widths, with similar designs, so they wrap around your leg/calf.
