As well as any bass unless you absolutely yank the thing all over the place, then it's as well as any Strat.
They stay in tune reasonably well. If you hit it hard, you may need to retune it between songs.
tuning is not the major issue with these, the real PITA is hoping you can flat mount it and not have to rout a 1/8 inch "lip" to recess the thing.
not that it is bad or good, just more work if it is necessary to recess the thing so you can get the proper angle on the saddles.
I have an old 2400 never used ( not 2410 ) that I thought I could mount on one of my p-basses, but the intonation line wont work with that 2400 unit because the saddles are reversed and it takes more real estate on the bass to get it to intonate properly.
I was going to use it on my jackson tbird, but decided not to.
This guy did but used a 2410

My very first tremolo bass build. Hot rodded Squier, flat black ( spray can ) Hipshot system, not even close to the quality of the Kahler if you ask me
First build with Kahler. Was later parted out for the next build. The neck was crap too.
Burns "John Rostill 1964" reissue with a Kahler. First with flatwounds, later with roundwounds as they are more stable for tremolo use.
The latest creation. Homebuilt with no name body and a Warmoth neck. Seymour Duncan STC-3 and Pickups, J bridge and P are 1/4 pounders, J neck is actually a J bridge replacement one, also from SD. Paintet Fiesta Red with a spray can. Good enough for starters
The Kahler bridge had to be sunk into the body ( routing )to get the right string hight. Even have a thick shim under the neck.
