Show Us Your Christmas Basses and Gear!!

Heres a picture of the Mesa Prodigy I bought a few weeks ago. It had been sitting in the shop for a few weeks and I named this picture dream amp:

Also waiting on my Green Spector Euro 5 to get here, it's scheduled for January 3rd.

Since I got an Aria FEB02 in Nov as.an early present, I wasn't expecting anything musical.

Then my Dad who's an ol' picker from the 70s (played with Gilley, Waylon, etc.) stopped by and gifted me his Gretsch G6120DE Duane Eddy. Not a bass, but gee, I'll take it! Plays like a velvet dream. Only wish I did too.

I got a coffee cup, filled with Hersey kisses candy from my twin granddaughters. I ate a few, and they ate the rest. That's all I got, but it's also more than I need, anyway.

I will say, that for 2011, and 2012 Christmases, I got a Fender American Deluxe P, (2011), and a Fender American Deluxe J, (2012), but since I am Santa Clause, it's not like I woke up Christmas morning, and found them under the tree. (I ordered, and paid for them myself).

I am not a Christian, but I do enthusiastically, and with great joy celebrate the holiday with the idea that it is far better to give, than it is to receive. The kids, and grandkids were all happy, and so was I.

I feel ya'. I enjoyed seeing the kids make out like bandits! It's really a great feeling.
