is it Seh-ruh-say, with the accent on the last syllable?

Not many of us Hawaiians have taken a French class, and neither do we get up to Canada very often, if at all.

This bass haunts me.

I am such a dawg for George's Ceruse finish. Just check my avatar which is a photo of my Ceruse BN5. I've been practicing exclusively on fretless for about 4 months now. If I had this bass I wouldn't have to worry about my intonation as everybody would be hynotized just looking at it. to pay attention to how bad my intonation is.

Probably the finest bass I've ever owned. I have an idea for one I want George to build for me down the road though.........

yea i'm having a stealth valenti made partially because of your Fbass!

Man i was thinking that Nordstrands were gonna be my ultimate basses one day, but all the F bombs being dropped in this thread is starting to make me think otherwise

Even if it had an accent on the last syllable, you wouldn't diftong it. It's a flat E (although I don't know if that vowel exsists in English) instead of AY as in yay.

Satin. Yes, big ones.

I tried to buy that bass but was (a year) too late. Yeah, wow.

The shape is standard for BN5s.

Neck is oiled maple. Yes, nice big dots!

Ebony is my guess.



PS: Thanks Adrian! I am in love with it. Oh, and if I had (a lot) more money to spend on a bass I might just have gone for a Mac topped one like yours! Or that new spalted one..., they are soo nice looking when you have a taste for them!

Being a french-canadian I have to say I've never heard "ceruse" before (appart for this type of finish) and would have no idea what it means but if you want to pronounce it in french, it would go like this:

"Say-rhuh-z"
