My first build.
I need to think of a good way to hold the pickup covers in with no screws, then I can glue in the nut and string her up. Can't wait to hear how she sounds..
6 String, Fretless, Neckthrough, Maple/Walnut/Maple/Walnut/Maple neck lams, Walnut Fingerboard, Walnut top and back, Poplar wing cores, and handwound singlecoils (made them myself), wired up like a jazz bass.
Can anyone tell me why I keep thinking "Bullwinkle Bass" here????
I like it.

hey, looks great! I think there were a couple of guys that used threaded inserts in the covers and used a spring loaded hex bolt from the back of the bass.
I have this one apart right now and I'm carving it a little more. It's seen many a gig, and it a great bass......I still like 4's better though.........I'll post pics when I finish/refinish it again.......

Well, it's not quite a bass but this is the first build I did that resembles a normal instrument at all:

It's an electric ukulele built for one of my friends, and was made in a grand total of three weeks (I was rushed by his birthday's date). Yes, laugh it up; I did.![]()

My first scratch build. The funniest thing is that the alder knobs for the EQ up the body are still not done... My main player, though, since I love fret free necks...
