I don't really have a green bass, but under a black light my 1990 black and maple Stingray 5 turns green. Look at the black pickguard for comparison. It is the same bass in my profile pic.

I hope I'm not the only one with this problem. When I went to pull all of these out; I felt a little ridiculous.
Hear me out, I think the green basses are made with a little more love then others.. I have no evidence to support this other than my biased love for green guitars and trying a plethora of the same kinds of basses with different color.

Glad someone got that one cause I was sure eyeing it!
G&l does some of the best looking greenburst in the biz.
I had a few , but they are no longer with me. Being enjoyed in New homes.

RondoMusic Hadean 21" scale Chinese Hofner knockoff. Had Eric's Guitar in Sound City (yes, that Sound City) replace the wood floating wonky piezo bridge with a high mass fully adjustable bridge and mini humbucker pickup, Kala/Galli flatwound nylon core strings that work perfectly with the magnetic pup, Gotoh light tuners, and Pat Wilkins did the paint job.
