Non-music life has taken a front seat lately, so I still haven’t done any samples, but maybe I’ll do a few quick ones from my phone.
And, I just picked up a gig for 3/8 so maybe I’ll bring the hollow body to that one (along with my db). Will try to post some clips.

For now I’ll just say that this bass is my favorite bass that I’ve ever played. It I were to ever have a signature bass then this would be it. Difficult to put it into words….resonant, warm, articulate…reacts like an acoustic instrument. The way each note reacts to your playing is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Well worth the wait to say the least. I’ll be playing this until my last breath. A new friend for life.
I saw a couple of other instruments that are being made. Martin is at the top of his game. Super grateful to know him and call him my friend.

I have the same passive setup with the Bigrigs in my Bordwell, V/B/T. It's killer.

Passive, eh? Both of my Elfin 5s are same. They are quite versatile, tonally.
I haven’t had a (main) bass with a preamp in quite some time. No need if it’s made well. I’m sure this bass would sound great with a preamp, but the goal was big and warm and organic. Mission accomplished for sure. It’s actually so deep in the lows I may be using more bridge pickup than I normally do. Huge sound…first bass I’ve owned where I could just leave the pickups blended evenly and call it a day. I usually always favor the neck pickup
