I have to say, Rob surpassed my expectations.... which isn't easy to do.... I am thrilled with the pictures I received today and cannot wait to get my hands on it next week.

I've been trying to find pictures posted some time ago , of that simple spruce topped Rob allen. I believe it was a mouse or mouse 30... anyone know who's got that one, or even better..got those pics? :)

So its official, I've taken the RA plunge :hyper:

I've wanted a Mouse 30 for a while. Was sort of on the fence due mostly to cost. My wife convinced me than anything but a Mouse was a compromise that I would inevitably regret.

Mailed Rob my deposit and he promptly sent photos of two bodies. I decided on the following

Would like to thank everyone on this (and other Rob Allen related) thread(s)
You guys are really helpful and truly informative. :)

Got a fretted Mouse for my birthday in May. At first I wasn't sure I'd keep it since I was so used to my Fretless MB-2, but now that I've had it for a few weeks, and taken it on vacation (along with a pair of small powered speakers that let me jam with some buddies who brought acoustic guitars), I've fallen in love with it.

It's my new #1 "Noodling on bass while watching TV" bass and I've gigged it some as well. It's just SO MUCH FUN to play.

So, you've got it in your hands ???

I do.... that's why I haven't been on here much lately. :D

It plays easily, it is very light, the sound is superb. I'm still getting acquainted with her..... but oh what fun!

I play it through a Aguilar TH500 and I am still tweaking to find sounds.

The entire experience of working with Rob was superb. His craftsmanship is fantastic AND he is so very professional. I was impressed with every part of the process... and most especially with the great instrument I've been getting to know... :hyper:
