I don't think that is how "roasted necks" are made.

MIM Player Precision, picked up used with some cosmetic mods. Set it up with a set of medium Pressurewounds, sounds great and plays like a dream. Slightly over 8lbs. Was expecting to swap the pickup in time but I quite like the stock one so far.
That anodised guard looks really nice with the white/maple!
They put "A" necks on P Basses back in ths 60's
