My 1982 Precision Special is still my favorite bass. I just put flatwounds on it and it sounds great!

Not sure the first photo belongs, though?
Actually the gold hardware was stock with that guitar. I have done nothing to it except put flatwounds on it. It has active electronics. Those were the first basses that Fender put active electronics in. Yeah that first picture doesn’t belong there. That’s actually a model ambulance I have.
