Show us your White Precision Basses.

Here is my 1982 Fender Precision Special that I bought new in 1983. A bit on the heavy side at 10.6 pounds but I use a wide leather strap with it to distribute the weight. Used it a bunch in the 80s and 90s all over the Seattle area.

I thought that Elvis looked so cool with this Oly White P;

that I had to add one like his to my stable.

It's a 2008 model AmSt. That's an old pic, the P is now wearing an AmSt Jazz neck, bridge mute and LaBella 760FS.
The only bass I have a name for; I call it "Thumper".
I usually gig with Thumper and the S1 MIA Jazz, with Rotosound RS66LD, both have the same neck and setup.
I gig in a show band covering Pop hits from the 60's to current. Makes for easy mid set switching and the pair can cover a LOT of sonic real estate.

One of my favorite pics of the King... : )

I don't know if this has been covered before but I don't get to see a lot of White P Basses. So show your White P Basses and describe any modifications that you have done to it.

Here is my Fender Player P Bass with just a couple of mods being that I changed the stock pickups with SD SPB-3s and changed the stock Mint pick guard to Black.

I put an American vintage bridge and DiMarzio pups to freshen her up!

Here's my 96' MIM P. I changed the Pickguard and replaced the pickups with Fender Originals.
It's heavier than my American Standard P of the same year.
It was very smelly when I got it. Took several tries to get the stench out.
Fantastic neck. Plays like a dream!

I've heard of smelly cases before, but never a smelly bass! Nicotine maybe???

I bought it from a fellow off his porch. There was an odor emanating out of his house and the same odor was baked into the bass. It was a bass of funk from the beginning. The funk being the smell.
I had to soak all the hardware In Murphy’s Oil Soap finally to get the odor off everything.
It was gross.
