Thanks! That's a 2004 BSR6P, and it is a bolt-on. The top wood (and back) is Bubinga, with a maple core and tiger maple center. The BT6G on the left is a neck-through, with a mahogany core and tiger maple top and back. They do sound quite a bit different.

All these nice basses are makign me anxious. 4 months and I get my first 6. It's being built right now by Mr. Sheldon Dingwall.

I had given up trying 6str basses cause I could find nothing that was comfortable enough for my hand, but once I've tried the Dingwalls It was the most comfortable 6str ever. The sound matches the striking beauty of those. You will not regret it

The two on the right have been changed since the pic. An additional pair of Nord SE installed with the Barts Jazz pups. And on the end, swapped out the Bart pre for a Audere, and changed Bart soaps to Nord DC's.

BTW, just curious how many of those of you who have high-end basses (especially those who have multiples) are playing full-time?

I play regularly, but don't think I could justify to my wife and kids the purchase of even one high-end ($2000+) bass. Just wondering how you guys pull it off?

You could probably count on both hands the people on TalkBass who know what song that quote is from. I am one of them.

I've always loved that song, the man does slow bass lines as well as he does fast ones! I also have to admit resembled that line back in the late 80s!

If my memory serve me correct.. my Curbow got 21mm spacing on it. I love the wide spacing!!
