Yeah, it's actually a pretty special one... one of Carey's better necks and he's known for making superlative necks; thick slab of endangered species on the neck.

edit: of course, I cannot claim to have played many Nordy's, but everyone who places it is blown away.

I did slip a Mesa Boogie in there. When I first got the MB, I removed the name plate from the front, because it just didn't look right with an Ampeg amp sitting on top of it. Maybe I need to get a MB amp one of these days.

You do have a DI output, albeit a high impedance (10Kohm) unbalanced one. It's the "Booster Amplifier" jack. It's Item 13 in the manual.

You are correct, but I tried a little recording with it a couple weeks ago, and.... Ouch.
It's really just a hole in my amp. I can't imagine I'd ever want that sound getting out.

Generally speaking, I am not a Marshall fan, but that is an impressive collection! Like the mini-fridge too

I have a medium size and a large size rig. The Tone Hammer 500 and rack sometimes change places from speaker stacks. I only use clean tones. The signal chain in the case of either of my amps is stripped down and simple.
*The fEARful cabinets are great.
