for some reason i doubt its a bassballs....looks more EBS to me...plus bassballs have only one knob

Just got this monster on Sunday
I bought it tubeless so it'll be a couple weeks till I can fire it up.
I'll be running it or my Yamaha/Crown through my Schoeder 1210 and I've been told my 1212 is shipping Tuesday

God I love these cabs!!! (so does my cat)

I suggest using KT88's. JJ Tesla make some good ones, I believe.James Hart said:

Jan Philips 12AX7WA are very nice bass preamp tubes -- the JJ Tesla 12AX7 are nice too (Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH if you want a rockier sound -- just make sure they're not noisy ones).

I'd narrowed it to the Sovtek or EHX KT88 and JJ or EHX 12xx7...
I've chose to go with a full set of EHX and picking up a pair of JJ 12AX7 so I can swap locations to see which I like where.
the JAN stuff is interesting, but I'm looking to go with current production tubes.

well I don't use them all at once if thats what you're thinking!! Although, hmm........
I usually use the 110, and 112 together, which I love, thats a killer combination. Or I'll use the el whappo by itself, which, as any whappo owners can attest to, can pretty much handle ludicrous amounts of volume and low end.
I rarely have to add the gordo sub, but sometimes I'll use it with the 112. That is one of the most incredible subwoofers around. Besides being tiny and unsuspecting, it can put out a jaw dropping amount of low frequencies.
I always give props to AccuGroove and Mark Wright. He is probably one of my favorite people in the world, and his customer service, and commitment to quality is amazing, dealing with Mark is always a refreshing experience. Couple that with some of the best performing cabinets out there, and I'm set for life!!

I remember when EH pedals were sold out of the back of comic books 30 years ago. I was 7 years old asking my mom what a Bassballs or an Electric Mistress was. Judging from her reaction I think she thought I was looking @ porno mags!!
